Zahra, daughter of the late Haji Balal, and Bibi Nisa’, daughter of the late Karbalayi Muhammad ‘Ali and wife of the late Haji Balal, rent a house located in Handaq neighborhood from Haji Ramazan ‘Ali Baqqal [the grocer], son of the late Karbalayi ‘Ali Saqqa’, for one year, at the monthly rent of one tuman.

Letter about rent for a room in a caravansary, 1914
Letter to Haji Muhammad Mahdi Sahib Tajir [the merchant] from Isfahan, asking him to pay the rent of a room, in a caravansary facing the former customs building, to Bibi Sahib Sultan, wife of the late Haji Nasr Allah Tajir. Also, the letter informs the receiver that since Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin has bought four-sixths of the room, from now on, the rent of four-sixths of the room should be paid in his order.

Letter asking for a lost rental lease, 1929
Letter written by Khanum Muhtaram to Sayyid Ahmad Pish-namaz [the prayer leader] asking him to write down the text of a lost rental lease that he had drafted four years ago. The lease was about renting Khilak lands to Mashhadi ‘Ali Akbar Dihkurah. On the margin, Sayyid Ahmad has written the rental lease.

Deposition of Husayn Muʻin al-Raʻaya, 1906
‘Abd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma gave permission with conditions to Husayn Muʻin al-Raʻaya about managing the properties of the late Vakil al-Dawlah, which are owned by Umm al-Khaqan. The deposition mentions this permission can be revoked anytime by Farmanfarma. In addition, Husayn Muʻin al-Raʻaya cannot transfer the ownership of these properties to any foreigners.
